Gambia first won the African Under-17 crown four years ago when they hosted the tournament. And on Thursday, they repeated this feat inside a packed stadium in Dar El Beida.
A brace from top marksman Ebrima Bojang and single goal from Alasana Camara propelled the Gambians to victory.
Algerian striker Bendahmane Nadir scored for the hosts but it proved too little on the day.
The tournament was marred by the disqualification of Niger after it was discovered that they fielded an over-age player.
Africa will this be represented by Gambia, Algeria, Burlina Faso, Malawi and hosts Nigeria at the FIFA World Under-17 Championship in November.
